OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES & REGULATIONS

ELIGIBILITY:

Open only to individuals 19 years of age and over who are employees of a public media station, in attendance in person at the 2023 NETA conference being held September 10-14, 2023, and are permanent legal residents of the United States of America or Canada (except Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions, and the province of Quebec). Employees, officers and directors of World’s Greatest Cruises Inc., Influence Entertainment Group Inc., WPBS TV, NETA or Viking ("the Promotional Partner"), other contest partners as applicable, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and immediate family members (spouses and siblings, children and parents and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are specifically not eligible, even if they are employees of a public media station.

SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION:

The “World’s Greatest Cruises Win a Cruise for 2 at the NETA 2023 Sweepstakes” ("Sweepstakes") provides an opportunity for entrants to win a sponsored trip on a Viking cruise for 2 travelers. The Sweepstakes is open from 17:00 ET September 10, 2023 until 14:00 ET September 14, 2023. Entrants must enter in person at the World’s Greatest Cruises booth at the 2023 NETA conference, during regular operational hours and / or when the booth is staffed. The winner will be randomly selected on September 14, 2023, and receive the prize as described in Rule 4.

All applicable federal state, and provincial rules apply.

TO ENTER:

The sweepstakes is being held in person at the World’s Greatest Cruises booth at the 2023 NETA conference. Entrants must submit a business card with their name, PBS station name and city, direct email and phone number; if they do not have a business card, booth staff will provide a limited number of cards that can be hand-written with the required information and submitted. All Entrants will be automatically entered upon submission of their business/ manually-filled-in card.

Only one entry per person is permitted. World’s Greatest Cruises will remove duplicate/ obviously ineligible entries prior to the sweepstakes draw.

Entries become the property of World’s Greatest Cruises Inc. Entrants may receive emails from us, but will always have the opportunity to opt out of marketing emails. Your privacy is important to us. World’s Greatest Cruises Inc. does not sell or share personal information with any other companies for the purposes of marketing or solicitation.

SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE:

The Winner shall receive a certificate for their choice of any Viking 8-Day River, Ocean or Great Lakes Expedition cruise for themselves and a travel companion in 2024. Choice of one (1) Veranda Stateroom for River voyages (Cat A), Deluxe Veranda for Ocean voyages (DV), or Nordic Balcony for Expedition voyages (N1 Class); double occupancy. Cruise includes an 8-day river, ocean or expedition cruise, included meals, shore excursions, tours, round-trip coach class airfare from a published gateway and transfers. Land extensions and cruisetours are not included.

The prize is not transferable; no credit will be issued for cruise fares of lesser value; value may not be exchanged for cash. Approximate retail value from $14,196 USD ($20,396 CAD) to $16,999 USD ($23,396 CAD). Valid on available 2024 embarkations only. Blackout dates may apply. Not combinable with any other offer or Future Cruise Voucher. Subject to stateroom availability. Must make reservations within 120 days prior to departure. Additional add-ons, such as extensions, hotels, etc. are only payable by credit card. Restrictions may apply. Winner must redeem cruise certificate / book travel via channels described on the cruise certificate.

Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for any other taxes, transfers, travel insurance, spending money, tips, meals and other travel and hotel charges not specifically mentioned as part of the prize.

Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining their own travel documents, such as passport or visas, if necessary, in advance of the departure date. Winner and travelling companion must travel together on the same itinerary.

Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for ensuring they comply with any and all cruise line or destination health regulations in effect at the time of travel.

Winner is solely responsible for ensuring they and their travel companion are in good condition to travel, and are in possession of travel insurance and spending money sufficient to their reasonable needs.

Neither World’s Greatest Cruises Inc., the Promotional Partner, nor any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, nor any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity directly involved in or associated with the Sweepstakes, nor their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and other representatives shall be held liable or responsible in any way for the Winner or travel companion suffering any loss/ injury/ disappointment/ inability to enjoy the above prize for any reason outside of their control, including any health restrictions that may be in effect at the time of travel.

Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, provincial or local taxes applicable to claiming the prize.

The responsibility of World’s Greatest Cruises Inc. and its Promotional Partner is strictly and explicitly limited to the provision of the prize as described above to the winner.

HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN:

No more entries to the contest will be accepted after 14:00 ET on September 14, 2023. Between 16:00 and 17:00 at the final, in-person gathering of the NETA conference, one entry will be randomly selected by officers of World’s Greatest Cruises or a designated party. The Winner must be present in the room at the time of draw to win. The Winner will be required to sign certain documents and fulfill certain obligations, including answering a skill-testing question.

If for any reason, including the Winner declining to provide required signatures or answer a skill-testing question, the prize is not claimed for whatever reason, World’s Greatest Cruises Inc., at its sole discretion, and following the dictates of reasonable fair play, shall select another Winner, to whom the same rules shall apply.

Winners will be announced at the in-person draw at the 2023 NETA conference, and subsequently in any medium by World’s Greatest Cruises, its parent company, or in any medium by the Promotional Partner.

PUBLICITY:

Entrants agree to permit World’s Greatest Cruises Inc. and its Promotional Partner and its agents to use their name, photograph, likeness, and city and city / location for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media, in perpetuity, without compensation (unless prohibited by law).

GENERAL:

By participating, entrants agree: [a] to these rules and decisions of World’s Greatest Cruises Inc.’s officers/ directors, which shall be final in all respects relating to the Sweepstakes; and [b] to release, discharge and hold harmless World’s Greatest Cruises Inc., its related companies, affiliates, partners, Promotional Partner and their agents and any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity directly involved in the Sweepstakes and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and other representatives from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participating in the Contest or their acceptance, use or misuse of a prize including, without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, copyright, trademark, defamation or invasion of privacy.

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Ontario, Canada, with jurisdiction and venue in the Province of Ontario, and all claims must be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario.
